Bringing stories to life
—
With my work, I aim to uncover and distill truths about our world that may otherwise be overlooked. I love the process of learning and I am constantly honing my skills in visual storytelling.
I graduated from Duke University in 2017 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, focused on conservation and sustainable development. My passions initially led me to Santa Monica, CA where I worked on Red Bull’s data science team collaborating with amazing scientists, artists, and athletes on a multitude of different projects and adventures.
At the start of 2019, I joined Alter Global as a storytelling fellow to highlight the incredible entrepreneurs building companies in Bangladesh, Nigeria, and other emerging markets around the world. After the completion of a set of videos for Alter’s marketing team, I joined Paystack (an Alter portfolio company) in Lagos, Nigeria as the company’s first data scientist. I led analytics strategy, championed data-driven decision-making frameworks, and led weekly data analytics workshops to share insights on data modeling and presentation. As a Schmidt Futures grant recipient, I spent 2020 working for WattTime in Oakland, CA as a data scientist working on their Climate Trace project.
Since then I have been in training to join a Pararescue team with the California Air National Guard.
